A short guide to working with HBI Roll Off in Fairbanks, AK.
Concrete, brick and dirt need short-walled containers and a clear fill line. Mention them first so the right box gets sent.
Containers and portable restrooms are often sold by separate companies. Start with a single call and ask about both.
You deal with a hauler serving your area, where one covers your address. Their rates and rules are the ones that apply.
We connect the call. The provider delivers, services and collects, and bills you directly. No confusion on who to phone later.
Describe what is going in rather than guessing yards. Roofing, concrete and household clutter all load very differently.
What people planning a rental in Fairbanks, AK tend to ask.
Public events and many job sites call for accessible units. Federal standards generally ask that part of a cluster, and at least one unit, be accessible. Your Fairbanks event permit or site contract may spell out exactly how many you need.
Guests and hours set the number. Planning charts assume more units as an event runs longer, and you should add some if alcohol or lots of drinks are on offer. Give the provider your Fairbanks headcount and hours and ask them to size the order.
Usually, as long as the container is sized for the weight. Layers matter: two layers on a Fairbanks roof can double the tonnage. Have your square count ready, and ask whether shingles need to stay separate from other debris where you are.
Most fit, but the truck is the harder part. It commonly needs a long straight run to back in, plus height to tilt the bed clear of wires and branches. Measure your Fairbanks driveway and mention any tight turns, soft ground or low limbs.
On private property, usually not. On a street, sidewalk or other public right of way, many towns do require one, and the rules differ across AK. Check with the Fairbanks public works or permit office before the drop-off date.
If food is being served, your Fairbanks or county health department may require them, and they are a sensible addition for any big crowd. Placing a sink near the restrooms and another near food lines keeps people from having to walk far.
